City Park Pool

City Park Pool, one of the most known swimming areas in town. With two giant water slides, and a lazy river, this pool tops them all. It is a good place for kids to run around. If it's a hot day outside most people can just walk in their backyard, and the pool is right there. For people who don't know Fort Collins that well, they can find this pool on Mulberry street. It is accompanied by a large park open for dogs, children, and athletes. The teams at CSU run the fields of City Park on occasion training for their Summer season.  This place is highly recommended, by local, and travelers all around Colorado. This pool at the end of the summer also allows people from the community, to let their dogs come in and swim on the last day the pool is open. They call it "Pooch Plunge".

Sweatsville Zoo

The Sweats ville Zoo is a unique place I have never seen before, other than the unique itself, Fort Collins Colorado. This is no ordinary zoo, it is filled with metal iron statues of animals. This "zoo" provides a wonderful environment to take a stroll, and admire the unusual art. In a convenient place in the town, this so called "zoo" is placed perfectly for people all around town to find. Even for tourists this would be a great spot to take photos, or to brag about the wonders you have seen here at the Sweats ville Zoo, one of the many adventures in Fort Collins.

The Poudre Canyon

As amazing as our river is in Fort Collins, it is slowly dwindling. As the time to play and enjoy the vivacious rapids is diminishing, many people should rush up the canyon to get that last run in. This river is suitable for all ages with sandy banks near the rivers edge. Not to mention the scenery on the drive up. The Poudre Canyon in Fort Collins is a remarkable place to visit. It makes me sad that this canyon will once be no more than a place to lay concrete jungles. On top of the rafting, and tubing, this river is abundantly filled with various fish suitable for fishing. Accommodating all people of Fort Collins, this is a fabulous place to chillax.

Horsetooth Rock

This mountain provides fun for local and travelers. There is an array of hiking trails, that range from moderate to advanced. It is the ideal place to bring your kids for a day of fun. I enjoy hiking up the rock Horsetooth because once you get to the top, it is like a different world. You gaze out among the Fort Collins valley. It really makes you remember why you even came in the first place. If you ever forgot. Horsetooth rock is also a big reservoir. It provides a lake for people to boat, and fish in. Also, there is a swimming beach not too far from the dock for people to bask in the sun. A word of advice from this blogger, visit Horsetooth travelers!!!
